There have been occasional errors on certificates, (though this happens with all labs including our own), so we do check certs thoroughly on receipt.
Estimated turn around would be useful to know once the product is received, we generally assume two weeks for planning purposes.
We do have some larger weights that we have to send elsewhere as they are over the limit of what EI can calibrate, but understand these would be outside of EI’s core business range and would add handling implications so would not be viable.
We find the phone/email contact and flexibility when there are queries over missing information or adjustments needed to weights is very good and appreciated. The calibration team we have been working with EI for many years, a local company who satisfies our requirements for most weight calibrations.
